New Residential Model Home Repeat

 

1. Click the Building Permit Application button the iPermits Online Service Menu. Click here to view the iPermits Online Service Menu.
2. Once on the Electronic Building Permit Applications page, review existing applications, as needed.
3. Click the Begin New Application button to create a new application for a residential model home repeat..

 

 

 

 

 

1. Click the New Residential model home repeat button.
2. Enter the complete address of the future home.
3. Select the company affiliated with your iPermits user profile from the drop down list.
4. Select the model home plan from the drop down list. Model home plan details have been previously saved for easy retrieval.
5. Click the Begin Application Process button to continue with the building permit application.

 

 

1. The owner information should be copied from the previous screen.
2. Edit the property address, as needed.
3. Select the county the property is located in.
4. Enter the Key Map number.
5. Enter the number of stories of the property.
6. If this is a new construction project, enter the Subdivision name.
7. Enter the Block/Lot and Tract numbers.

 

Scroll down the page to continue with the application.

 

Note: Please note, the requested address or project scope will require a City of Houston Permit Office review prior to being able to finalize the application and/or submit plans. This service will be performed on the next city business day and may require additional information or submissions prior to approval.

 

 

1. Describe the proposed development. You can edit text as needed.
2. Select the type of residential structure.
3. Select the Scope of Project.

1. Select the Entity Name Type.
2. Enter and edit applicant's address and contact information.
3. Select the applicant's relationship to the project.
4. Select the Owner Information Entity Name Type.
5. Enter the individual or corporation/firm name.
6. Enter the mailing address.
7. Enter the owner's phone number.
8. Enter the owner's email address.
9. When finished, click Save and Continueto continue to page 2 of the application.

 

 

1. Select Present Occupancyfrom the drop down list.
2. Select Proposed Occupancy from the drop down list.
3. The Construction Type option should already be selected.
4. The Fire Rating option should already be selected.
5. Review and edit the square footage, as needed.
6. Review and edit the proposed development, as needed.
7. Select if this is a MDI Project. If yes, enter the MDI Registration Number.
8. Select the Green Building Type, if applicable.

 

 

1. Select Applicant or Owner to copy name and address to the project manager section.
2. Enter Contact name.
3. Enter phone number.
4. Enter the contact's email address.
5. Select Applicant, Owner or Project Manager to copy name and address to the general contractor section.
6. Enter Contact name.
7. Enter phone number.
8. Enter email address.
9. Click Save and Continue to continue the application process.
